My Kind of Landscape Painting

Landscape painting remains vital in this accelerated, digital world.

It is no longer merely about depicting nature. It has become a philosophical field where time, impermanence, and perception unfold. What matters is not what we see, but how we see. Flow, void, coexistence, uncertainty, fragmentation, becoming.

It slows us down, inviting contemplation and resisting instant consumption. It asks us to pause, to breathe more slowly. Within this space, we enter a state of imagination and quiet reflection.

It requires no cultural or linguistic fluency. It speaks a universal language through rhythm, space, colour, and movement, generating its own energy. No nationality, no ethnicity, no gender.

It embodies lived time and encodes personal experience.  Its value lies in presence.

Therefore, landscape painting remains a relevant practice.
