No Regret, No Sorrow
One day, I watched a Youtube clip about an interview with a psychiatrist who conducted a survey on what imminent dead-bedded people would like to do if they get a chance to live again. Most of them answered the following: First, they’d like to live their life in the way they want. It is not about how well off they are, but how joyful they feel about life. They would enjoy what they like to do even if they are poor at it. Second, they’d like to apologize to people whom they hurt emotionally. They’d realized how valuable it was to treat others kindly and show empathy. Last but not least, they’d like to share things with others. In other words, they’d been self-centered and busy keeping their own wealth. Facing death, it was pointless for them to have all their possessions. In a nutshell, we all have to keep reminding ourselves that life should be full of Joy, Empathy, and Altruism.
