On the Shortness of Life by Seneca

Seneca teaches us about proper attitudes towards life and console our sorrowful soul.

In spite of different times, cultures, and lifestyles, Seneca's advice works out in all situations. Of many, here are three things we should do.

1. Use all the books to make yourself better, not to decorate your bookshelf.

2. If anguish or distressed, get out of the situation and find ways to soothe them.

3. Don't waste your time on trivial matters or others' affairs.
